Entering the auction

You can enter an auction directly from the system message, or via the Fluenta Dashboard.

You can access the auction from the system notification email:

  1. An automatic system notification email arrives in your email account with the subject Invitation to participate in a Fluenta auction. The message includes the exact time of the live auction and the time of the practice auction (if the organizer has set up a practice option).
  2. If you already have an active Fluenta account, the system will navigate you to the auction overview page via the link in the email.
  3. In the top right-hand corner of the overview page, you can accept the auction by clicking on the "accept" (thumps up) icon.

You can enter the auction from the Fluenta Dashboard:

  1. If you are logged into your Fluenta account, a message will appear in the Auction widget on the Dashboard, informing you that you have been invited to an auction.
  2. By clicking on the message, you will be redirected to the table view which displays the pending and accepted auctions.
  3. Click on the "accept" icon next to the auction name in the actions column to accept the invitation.

In both cases, the auction status will change to "accepted" and the auction will be moved to the Accepted auctions table below.

If the organizer has set up an Access gate, this will be the first thing displayed when you enter the bidding interface. You will then be prompted to accept the contents of an uploaded document. Participation in the auction is only allowed if you read and accept the document ("Accept" checkbox).

Click on the auction name to navigate to the Overview page of the auction. The Overview page contains details of the organizing company, timing, settings (key features), items, placement calculation, and reports you will be allowed to access.
