How can I submit my offer?

In this article, you'll find answers to the most frequently asked questions on submitting your offer or response to Fluenta Sourcing events.

  1. How can I refuse participation in a sourcing event?

Navigate to Sourcing Start page and click the three dots (...) in the last, Actions column of the given sourcing event's row. There will be an option to Decline participation.

  2. How can I confirm I want to participate in a sourcing event?

You don't need to confirm you intend to participate; it's enough to submit a response before the submission deadline.

  3. What do the following options mean on the response form page: Save as draft, Submit response, Finalize response?

Save as draft: the data you have entered into the response form is saved, you can continue filling it out later. The organizer can't access the offers saved as draft. For your offer to be valid, you must submit your response before the deadline.
Submit response: the data you have entered into the response form is submitted, your offer is valid. If the organizer has provided this option, you may reopen your response as a draft, and edit and re-submit it until the submission deadline. After the submission deadline, the organizer can access the submitted offer.
Finalize response: the data you have entered into the response form is submitted, your offer is valid and final. You can't modify your response even if the organizer has provided the option to re-open and edit responses after submission. If all participants finalize their offers, the sourcing event might close early, before the submission deadline.

  4. Can I save my responses while filling out the form?

You can save a draft of the data you've entered in the response form by clicking Save as draft at the bottom of the page. The system also saves this data automatically every 5-10 minutes.

  5. How can I continue editing the response form I've saved?

In the data table on the Sourcing Start page, click the three dots (...) in the last, Actions column of the given event's row and choose Edit response.

  6. How can I check whether attaching a file was successful?

After submitting your response, try to download your attachment from the event's overview. The email notification about the successful response submission also contains the title and size of the files attached to your response.

  7. How can I copy the data from an older sourcing event to a new one?

Please make sure you don't open Fluenta Sourcing on multiple tabs in one browser, as in this case, we can't ensure your data will be saved properly; this might result in loss of data from either the old or the new sourcing event.
If you must open two different events at the same time, we suggest using two different browsers, or copying the data from the older event to a text file, then switching to the new event.

  8. How can I withdraw my offer?

This option is only available if the organizer has provided it.
In the data table on the Sourcing Start page, click the three dots (...) in the last, Actions column of the given event's row and choose Withdraw response.
If this option is not available, we suggest deleting all data on the Edit response page and submitting the response empty.
We also recommend notifying the organizer of your wish to withdraw.

  9. How can I access my submitted offer?

You can view your submitted offer by clicking on the name or ID of the event in the Sourcing Start page data table and entering the event's overview.

  10. Why do I have to submit my offer again, if I've already submitted it once and no new round has been opened?

If the organizer modifies the event, all submitted responses are returned to draft status. This means that all responses must be re-submitted, even if no changes are made to them. It's always recommended to check whether the modifications in the event data affect you before resubmitting.

  11. What should I do if I don't want to submit a new offer in the new round of a sourcing event?

We suggest re-submitting your first-round offer without changing it. We also recommend notifying the organizer.
